Ho Chi Minh
Ho Chi Minh City Tour (formerly Saigon and still fondly called that by many) is a sometimes dizzying mix of old and new, with uniquely Asian and international architectural styles. Older tree-lined streets cherished with a vaguely French atmosphere contrast with the multi-story buildings and office blocks which show the city’s almost futuristic side. This city has a lot to offer, such as the Giac Lam Pagoda (dating from 1744) and the Giac Vien Pagoda (founded about 200 years ago). The Notre Dame Cathedral, which was built between 1877 and 1883, is the most famous of the French-era churches in and around the city. With bustling streets, a wealth of restaurants and whitewashed trees, it is perfect for days of sightseeing, afternoons shopping and evenings spent enjoying a sunset drink at a rooftop bar or on a cruise on the Saigon River.
