Hue

Hue is located on the country’s central coast in Thua Thien Hue Province; the area has a variety of sites of outstanding natural beauty. The average temperature is about 25C but it is also notorious for its torrential rain, which can pour down unabated for a week. The beauty of the area led to it being chosen as the capital by the kings of the Nguyen Dynasty and it was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
